I’m an official Pagani owner!

During last car show in Geneva, I introduced the Pagani Huayra which succeeded the Pagani Zonda. During last Sport & Collection in june I saw for the first time ever the ultimate version of the Zonda: the Pagani Zonda R.

When I realized that AUTOart™ was releasing a limited edition of the Zonda R 1:18 scale replica, I hurried up and ordered it. Two mades are available, a white one with italy color stripes and the one presented here with carbon fiber pattern.

The car I received, came from Hong Kong was shipped fast and well packed. It’s amazing to feel the extreme quality, the care and the impressive attention to details. This 1:18 scale replica weighs 2 pounds and is a die-cast model. 658 separate metal and plastic parts are needed to create this outstanding car.

The Pagani Zonda R 1:18 is manufactured in three main parts plus both wing mirrors to screw. Note that the car goes, the doors open, the bonnet opens and the suspension are fully fonctioning!

The carbon fiber pattern is done by tampon printing nicely and accurately.

Back to the engine. in early june, I took a picture of the Zonda R engine while Sir Horacio Pagani was signing autographs in the paddock of the Val de Vienne race track. Just what I needed to compare the real engine to the small scale one.
